Oracle will announce today Oracle 8i for Linux. It will be available within 60 days. They are also giving away
20,000 copies of an "early access CD" for the people who will register. RedHat will be showing a new portal this week
(it's not available yet) which will include "everything that a Linux user need". Netscape will announce today the delivery of preview releases of Directory
and Messanger servers for Linux.

So that's why Rob was logged in from dhcpsomething.redhat.com a few weeks ago.. And here I was thinking that Redhat was going to buy out slashdot. Oh well, I hope nobody pays attention to all the rumours spread on SlashNET then. :)
Perhaps redhat and VA could cooperate on making linux.com a portal site.. Now that would be interesting to see..

BTW: here is a site that has 4 G3's on a 64bit PCI card with 2 DIMM slots. Its for NT and MacOS. Hmmm...a B&W G3 with 3 of those card can have 13 processors and 2.5Gb of RAM....but the heat! heh
