An anonymous reader writes: The neo-puritans have found a bold new weapon in their arsenal — complaining to 3rd parties. Recently, the Little White Butterflies translation group was blocked from Google as child pornography, despite lolita manga being very specifically excluded from child pornography laws. This is weeks after popular manga reposting website e-hentai was forced to ban this legal content from their website after other neo-puritan vigilantes went after their advertisers. Similarly, 2 weeks ago they did the same thing to MyIncestHentai. In all 3 cases, the complaints to the hosts (which often aren't even located in the US) are ignored because the content is legal, just unpopular. Is this the bold new way for fundamentalists to censor the web — go after the advertisements and search engines that content they do not like rely on?
