Not the cover story about his statement about Minsky, that isn't enough to justify the bullying he is getting from a large section of the community now under the guise of inclusiveness (which seems kind of ironic). There must be something else that is going unsaid here to get this much pushback.
A late (as in dead) AI researcher, Marvin Minsky was "Me Too'ed" by a victim of Jeffry Epstein (who did not kill himself).
Seeing as Minsky was dead, and unable to defend himself, RMS chose "due process" over "believe all women".
He was then harangued by the white knight brigade into resigning from the FSF.

Again, the guy's dead. Unable to defend himself. You're unable to render a legal judgement against the man. Because it's essentially pointless. I'm not saying Minsky DIDN'T do it. I'm merely saying that in absence of a legal trial with actual evidence, why should someone automatically believe whatever they're told?
As for his justifications? I don't give a fuck. Everyone says stupid shit from time to time.
We warn the reader in advance that the proof presented here depends on a
clever but highly unmotivated trick.

He did not choose "due process". Just read his e-mail. He wrote that he sees no reason to disbelieve that Minsky has sex with a trafficked child.
He then goes on to claim, weirdly, that the child may have been "entirely willing". Which I find sickening.
Also I don't think it's particularly effective for the leader of the Free Software community to volunteer opinions like that from out of nowhere.
