An anonymous reader writes "A "green" cloud-computer that that consumes only 2 watts of power is redefining the PC, according to this story, which has the best description the CherryPal that I've yet seen. With integrated software and 50 Gbytes of free cloud storage, CherryPal's embedded Linux has been stripped down to support Open Office, FireFox browser, iTunes, instant messaging and multimedia access locally, with a cloud-full of online applications all for under $250! It doesn't have a keyboard or mouse, but it has VGA, USB, Ethernet and built-in WiFi to access the cloud, and boots up in 40 seconds from 4 Gbytes of flash."
