+ - Cisco opens up EIGRP

Submitted by mvar
mvar (1386987) writes "Cisco uploaded a video on Youtube according to which they're willing to open up the EIGRP Protocol so that 3rd party vendors can use it too. Although this is considered by most a nice move, there's a catch: Advanced features such as stub areas are not going to be released plus the proposed RFC retains control of the protocol to cisco."
