judgecorp writes "The much-hated Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA) has been defeated in a vote in the European Parliament. This vote apparently means that no European country can join the agreement. However, other measures to protect copyright will be brought forward, says EU rapporteur David Martin."
