jones_supa (887896) writes "In a fresh press release Seagate announces having reached 1 terabit per square inch data storage density for hard disk drives. According to the company, this would lead to 3.5" hard drives with capacity of 60TB in the following 10 years, the first generation being 6TB. The advancement is made possible by using Heat-Assisted Magnetic Recording."
