An anonymous reader writes "AMD has published their code to support the Radeon HD 5000 "Evergreen" graphics cards on Linux in an open-source driver. Phoronix has the scoop on AMD's open-source Evergreen support with its current support and limitations (no 2D/3D, yet)."
